Judenburg Youth Project 2010 28.10.2009 3 General Information

Our project is escorted by the energy agency for Upper Styria, two alpine clubs and several teachers. The workshops and lectures will be presided by renowned local experts in botany, zoology, ecology and renewable energy.

We invite youngsters aged between 15 and 25 years. Each group should have 4 youngsters and one escort.

The accommodation will be in our guesthouse for youngsters and families and in a mountain chalet, belonging to the town of Judenburg. Life up there, in unique alpine scenery will be among marmots, chamois and the eagle.

The nearest airport is near Graz, where the groups will be picked up.

In Sušice, next year, we want to meet the representatives of our partner towns, who wish to take part and there we will give all further information concerning the camp.

In case of a subsidy, 70 % of the travel costs will be refunded, the rest 30 % remains for the participants.

The cable car up the Dachstein and the visit of the ice and glacier museum are about € 30.

All further expenses such as board and lodging and entrance fees are ours.

Please send the included application forms for this youth project not later than Dec 15th 2009 to a.kober@judenburg.at

You’ll get a programme with all the details as soon as the subsidy is granted.
