The association "Ecritures d'Europe" (European writings) aims for promoting exchanges between artists from all over Europe to discover the cultural riches of each country in the field of literature and the visual arts.
Music and the culinary arts are not excluded from what is planned as a festive encounter.
This is a long-term project, to be realized every year, as it were perennial. since there are twenty-five countries to discover (and soon more).
The following activities take place for audiences of pupils and grown-ups:
- readings - panel discussions - exhibitions - film shows - performances - writing workshops - translation workshops - publications - artists' residences
We work towards partnerships with media resources centres and public libraries, tourist offices, twinning committees, foreign cultural centres in Paris, theatres (Granville, St Pair-sur-Mer, Caen), cinemas, cultural associations from the three departments of Lower Normandy, editors, booksellers, Var10US networks, etc
The means of promotion are the customary ones: posters and flyers, the local and regional press, regional reviews, publications of regional and communal institutions, Various information sheets, and of course the Internet and" word of mouth".
This means beautiful work for the longer term, for which we count on your collaboration.
