Sailing to Chausey island Cancelled due to bad weather conditions.
On our way back from the Dinan and St Malo trip, leaders of the group had to discuss about the sailing trip to Chausey Islands.
First we learnt tha the sailing was cancelled due to bad weather forecast (for next Friday).
The last option left was the regular boat. But only for the Karkkila group... Who refused to go on a desert island under the bad weather and with no shelter (for 5 hours !)
Tomi, Riika, Antti, Heini, Marika, Milka, Heidi, Niklas, Satu, Noora, Joose, Jussi, Vili, all from Karkkila had lots of commentaries to make about their stay. Here are some remarks :
| We had done the walking to
the Mont Saint Michel which was amazing ! All the families have been great ! We have eaten local specialities ! We have visited a medieval town. The french students sang a lot in the bus. We have walked a lot and tried out bowling. We have had a Finnish pétanque Champion ! The French know how to compose great music ! Of course all these items will be developped later when they are back to Karkkila. |
